Switching from Mint

Export from Mint

  1. Mint closed in March 2024, so the file has to be one you downloaded before then.
  2. It’s usually called transactions.csv. Look in your Downloads folder, or search your computer for it.
  3. Upload it as it is. You’ll choose where each account in it goes next.

What Aggregate Finance imports

The columns Aggregate Finance reads from your Mint file, and the column on your spreadsheet’s Transactions tab that each Mint column fills. Imported rows say Imported in the Source column.

Then import it into Aggregate Finance

  1. Connect your banks

Sign up and connect your banks through Plaid. We get the last 12 months of transactions from each one, and your Mint export covers the years before that.

  2. Upload your Mint file

Choose Start an import on your dashboard, pick Mint, and upload the file. We recognize Mint’s columns, so there’s nothing to set up.

  3. Check what’s new

Transactions your banks already sent are matched, so each one shows up once. If we’re not sure, you decide. You can remove an import later.
